Research progress on Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans outer membrane proteins

Abstract:

It was recognized that Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans have a close relationship with periodontitis, especially localized aggressive periodontitis. As the important virulence factors, outer membrance proteins play an important role in periodontitis. This is a comprehensive overview related to the structural, phenotype, serotypes and pathogenicity of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans outer membrane protein about the research in recent years.
