Research progress on resistance of predominant periodontal anaerobes

Abstract:

Periodontal anaerobes are the main factors causing periodontitis. With the misuse of antibiotics in clinical treatment, the resistance of periodontal anaerobes is increasingly serious. In this review, we briefly discribed periodontal anaerobic strains, discussed their mechanism of drug resistance and antibiotic sensitivity and analysis and detection of drug resistance genes. It was expected to provide scientific evidences for use of antimicrobial drugs and the development of new antimicrobial agents.
