Research progress of adhesion of bacteria

Abstract: The precondition of dental caries is correlated with adhesion, assemblage of bacteria on the dental surface, the formation of dental plaque and the ecesis of bacteria on the dental surface. There will be no formation of biological membrane and no dental caries without the adhesion of bacteria. This article reviewed the phenomenon of the adhesion, the mechanism, the influencing factors and other aspects of the adhesion of bacteria to dental surface.
