Research progress on endodontic application of cone beam computed tomography

Abstract:

Cone beam computed tomography(CBCT) was developed in the late 1990s to produce undistorted three-dimensional information of the maxillofacial skeleton. Recently, CBCT has been widely used in endodontic and has become the new focus of the clinical study. This paper will review the research progress on the applications of CBCT in the management of endodontic problems.
