Research progress on neutrophil extracellular traps

Abstract:

It is believed that neutrophils have three major strategies to resist microbian infection, including phagocytosis, degranulation, and neutrophil extracellular traps(NET) formation. The discovery of NET introduces a brand-new perspective for the researchers from which they make analysis of the mechanism of innate immune system trapping and killing microorganisms. The thesis aims to give a review of NET’s structure and formation, as well as the fuction in disease and the escape of microorganisms from NET.
