Role of cytokine to the condylar cartilage under the mechanical loading

Abstract:

The mandibular condyle is an important developing site of the temporomandibular joint. The mandibular condylar cartilage tend to growth, reconstruction or degeneration under the mechanical loading. Regulation of cytokine plays an important role in this progress. This paper aims to review the significance of condylar cytokine under mechanical loading.
