Research progress on Treponema denticola

Abstract:

Treponema denticola is one of the oral treponema pathogens and has been demonstrated to be involved in periodontal and endodontic diseases, and may play an important role in the progression. The review explored the architectural features, biological characteristics, the virulence factors of Treponema denticola and the relationship between Treponema denticola and periodontal, endodontic diseases.
