Development of Resear ch of Enkephalin in Tooth Pain

Abstract:

In the procedure of orthodontic treatment, most patients suffer from toothache. There are many studies about the factors in term with orthodontic pain. Enkephalin which belongs to the endogenous opioid peptide family plays an important role in the modulation of dental pain transmission. The topics are the basic information of enkephalin and its relationship with the toothache.
