Abstract:

Adenoviral- mediated transfer of human bone morphogenetic protein（BMP）gene is a useful way to induce osteogenic differentiation with BMP. The practical application is limited by the safety and toxicity of this treatment modality. Studies in the safety assessment of adenoviral- mediated transfer of human BMP- gene in recent years have been reviewed in this article.
