Research Progress of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection/Acquir ed Immunodeficiency Syndrome-related Oral Diseases

Abstract:

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome （AIDS） performance on oral cavity is one of the most important reference to diagnose AIDS. The majority of human immunodeficiency virus（HIV）- infected patients have symptoms in oral cavity, however, these symptoms are often ignored. Currently, the main oral infectious diseases related with HIV infection include oral mucosal disease, periodontal disease, salivary gland disease and caries. In this paper, research progress of HIV- infected/AIDS- related oral disease will be summarize.
