Abstract:

Osseointegration performs an important role in the survival of implants and can be realized over a long healing period in traditional implantation. Immediate implantation can effectively reduce the healing time and it has so many advantages such as fewer traumas, release of pain and reservation of alveolar bone. Furthermore, even its functions could also be performed immediately after the implantation. This review will retrospect recent years’researches of immediate implantation and discuss the prospect.
