Combined application of growth factor and guided regeneration technique in dental implantation

Abstract:

With the development of membrane barrier and bone transplant materials, guided bone regeneration (GBR)/guided tissue regeneration(GTR) has been widely used in the fields of dental implantation and surgical reconstruction. Growth factors can further enhance bone regeneration and osteointegration around the implants. Combined application of growth factors and GBR/GTR technique would be a promising method in treatment of bone deficiency in dental implantation.
