Abstract:

Caries are chronic infectious diseases and the consequence of oral ecologic disequilibrium. According to the recent studies, Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus, Actinomyces viscosus are the major caries pathogens.
Saccharomyces albicans was reported that may be one of the caries pathogens. In this article we summurize these studies about their relationship.
