Liquid-phase sintering of aluminum oxide-based dental ceramics

Abstract: The liquid-phase sintering of aluminum oxide-based ceramics leads to lower sintering temperature and enhances ceramic properties, so it′s of great economical and social significance for dental all-ceramic restorations
application. This paper reviewed sintering aids and ceramic properties of liquid-phase sintering of aluminum oxide-based dental ceramics systematically. The related mechanisms were also interpreted.
