Effect of distraction osteogenesis on development of mandible

Abstract:

Distraction osteogenesis(DO), which can deminish the trauma of the surgery and decrease the complication and increase the post- operative stability, is increasingly popular. With its application in many children with some syndromes or protal deformities, the effect of DO on the development of children has been paid more and more attention. And this article reviewed the effect of DO on the development of mandible.
