Forkhead box C-2 gene and development of axial skelet

Abstract:

Forkhead box C-2(FoxC-2), a transcriptional factor of forkhead family, as the transmitter of several gene signaling pathway. FoxC-2 is likely to play an important role during the development of axial skeleton, cardiovascular and lymphatic system. Summarize the framework and physiologic function of foxC-2 gene and it’s protein outcome contributed greatly to study the mechanism of the development of axial skeleton.
