Research progress on oral lichen planus associated mental factors

Abstract:

There are various hypotheses regarding the pathogenesis of oral lichen planus(OLP). Neurological immune response, which may be caused by mental factors through stress axis, can lead to OLP. This article will review studies about the relationship between mental factors, neural immunity and OLP.
