Fracture resistance of post-core restored root

Abstract:

Post-core has a very important role in the preservation of residual root. The fracture resistance of a post-core restored root is closely related to post-core design. This article reviews the effects of post materials, amount of residual dentin, root canal preparation, post shape, and adhesive on the fracture resistance of post-core restored root.
