The application of invisible aligner technique in extraction patients

Abstract:

In recent years, invisible aligner technique has been paid more attention to by both orthodontists and patients with the advantages of esthetics, comfortability, convenience, etc. As it has been developing rapidly, the application of the invisible aligner technique in extraction patients is more and more mature. However, the inclination of adjacent teeth and absorption of root of teeth have been troubling orthodontists. By consulting published invisible aligner technique cases with extraction home and abroad, this article reviewed the indications, extraction closure, anchorage control, elastic traction, open bite, oral health, period of treatment, stability, etc.
