Abstract:

Electromyography studies of Class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion adolescent were summarized in this paper, meanwhile it was discussed that early treatment of Class Ⅱ malocclusion would promote not only jaw development, butalso recovery of muscle function. It is very significant that the formation, characteristics and treatment of the malocclusion are understood through electromyography studies.

Key words: electromyography, Angle Class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion, adolescent
