Application of immunotoxin in treatment of oral diseases

Abstract:

Immunotoxin is a novel class of targeted agents in recent years, which is composed of toxin fragment and antibody or cytokine. Because immunotoxin has the ability of high efficiently and specifically killing certain target cells, it has been used in curing a variety of disease, such as autoimmune disease, human immunodeficiency vinuses infection, and tumor. The development situation and application prospect of immunotoxin therapy in oral disease are reviewed in this paper.
