The effects of enamel matr ix proteins on the signal tr ansduction pathway

Abstract:

Local application of biologic regulator in operating area to promote regeneration has become a burning topic in the periodontological domain. Enamel matrix proteins have been demonstrated satisfactory effect in the periodontal
regeneration studies. However, the precise mechanism of the biological function is still indefinite. Various responds such as proliferation and differentiation induced by stimulus is regulated by the expression and/or activation of response factors, which constitute the signal transduction pathway.
