Research development of low- intensity pulsed ultrasound to accelerate the new bo

Abstract: Low intensity pulsed ultrasound, a form of mechanical energy transmitted as fluctuation and energy, the basis as the physical and chemical effects, it can cause the biological system changes in the structure or function when spread in the body, which can facilitate the distraction osteogenesis healing and shorten the treatment time. This review explores the mechanism how the lowintensity pulsed ultrasound to accelerate distraction osteogenesis repair and summary its animal experiments and clinical studies. Low intensity pulsed ultrasound, as a means of accelerating distraction osteogenesis, has no adverse reaction, simple application, and other advantages.
