New development in the comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment of gummy smile

Abstract: Gummy smile is an aesthetic disorder, which undermines a person’s smile, psychological health, and social relationships. Recent in-depth studies on the etiology of gummy smile have resulted in the development of comprehensive multidisciplinary approaches to treat this disorder. These approaches, especially the most commonly used surgeries, will be reviewed in this article.
