Abstract:

With the advances in technology, development of medical science and the introduction of new extraction instruments, the concepts and techniques of minimally invasive in tooth extraction emerged and developed. In China, however, the concept and technology has not been widely promoted and applied currently, far below patients and doctors’needs. In our article, we will introduce the concepts and techniques of minimally invasive in tooth extraction in detail by using the removal of complicated teeth and impacted teeth for example. We hope that could help to promote and spread the concepts and techniques of minimally invasive in tooth extraction.

Key words: tooth extraction, minimal invasion, extraction instrument, normalization
