Psychological characteristics and nursing of cleft lip and palate children and their parents

Abstract:

Along with the serial treatment of the cleft lip and palate patients, the psychological conditions of the patients and their parents are concerned more. The treatments and preventive arrangements of the psychological problems of the patients have become an important part of the serial treatment of cleft lip and palate patients when they are carried out surgery and other treatments being children or adolescence. By reviewing the articles and our clinical manipulation, we have performed the psychological nursing, which is an important part of the serial treatment of the patient with cleft lip and palate. The purpose of the paper was to analyze the psychological characteristics of the children with cleft lip and palate, and that of their parents.
