A new root canal obturation material Resilon/Epiphany

Abstract:

Root canal therapy is the main method for pulpitis and apical periodontitis. Obturation of the root canal which is the key of the root canal therapy is thought to be critical for the outcome of root canal treatment. To date, a new root canal obturation system, the epiphany endodontic obtutation system(R/E), has been applied into the clinic for its excellent sealing ability. Many studies have evaluated this system with disputable conclusion. In this article, we review these studies about this new root canal obturation system and hope to helpful for clinical treatment.
