Subchondral bone changes and osteoarthrosis

Abstract:

Osteoarthrosis（OA） is harmful to health and daily life，but its features varied among different joints. The etiopathogenisis and pathomechanism of OA is still unclear. Recently, it is reported that the changes in subchondral bone were closely connect with the development of OA. In this paper, we reviewed recent studies on the pathomechanism of the changes in subchondral bone, and the relationship between the change in subchondral bone and OA.
