Abstract: Drug-induced gingival overgrowth(DGO) is one of the gingival diseases because of suming immune depressant, calcium channel blocker and anti-epileptic drug. DGO was defined to gingival fibroplasia and enlargement
in tradition. It was discovered that the gingival epithelial thickening was one of the important reasons of causing DGO recently. So the review on pathogenesis of Ciclosporin-inhibited gingival epithelial apoptosis and Ciclosporin-accelerated gingival epithelial proliferation was made.
