Abstract: For mastering the evidence of Cochrane systematic reviews of fluoride varnishes for preventing dental caries, we searched the Cochrane library and summarized the practicality, effectiveness, safety and acceptability, side effects of fluoride varnishes. There is little information concerning acceptability of treatment or possible side effects in the included reviews.
