The current opinion on the pathogenesis of fibrous dysplasia

Abstract: Fibrous dysplasia is a common disease in oral and maxillofacial region. Researches on the molecular mechanism of its etiology can help us to know its biologic behavior. The present review is to focus on the recent advances of the etiology and the molecular mechanisms of fibrous dysplasia and McCune-Albright syndrome.
