Abstract:

Nuclear factor κB（NF- κB） is a ubiquitous transcription factor that governs the expression of genes encoding cytokines，chemokines，growth factors, cell adhesion molecules，and anti- apoptotic proteins. It plays an important role, especially in cancer, in the pathogenesis of many diseases. This review briefly discusses about the roles of NF- κB and its feasibility in the therapy of inflammation- associated cancer.
