Relation between gene locus in chromosomes and mechanism of pathopoiesis of nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without palate

Abstract:

Nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without palate(NSCLP), one of the most common congenital mal - formations, is a complex disease caused by genetic and environmental factors and their interactions. During the last two decades, scholars have discovered gene locus which have relation with NSCLP in many chromosomes. This review will briefly summarize the relation between gene locus in chromosomes and mechanism of pathopoiesis of NSCLP.
