Abstract:

Micro RNAs are small non-coding RNAs that mediate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level by degrading or repressing target messenger RNAs. The current studies showed micro RNAs were related to many oral cancers and played a key role in the tumorigenesis of some oral premalignant lesions. The relationship of micro RNAs and oral premalignant lesions was reviewed in the article.

Key words: micro RNA, oral premalignant lesion, mouth neoplasm
