Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effects of glass fiber post and metal post in anterior teeth restoration. Methods Glass fiber posts(group A, 100 teeth) and metal posts(group B, 100 teeth) were used for 200 anterior teeth restoration. After three-year follow-up, they were observed the restoration effect. Results The treatments of 98 teeth were effective and that of 2 teeth were failure in group A. The treatments of 86 teeth were effective and that of 14 teeth were failure in group B. There was statistically significant difference between two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Glass fiber post is better in convenient handling and good colour for anterior teeth restoration compared with metal post.
