Specialist perceptions and practices situation in dental care during pregnancy

Abstract:

Some studies have shown a possible association between maternal oral diseases and negative pregnancy outcomes. More and more oral health care guidelines and consensus statements during pregnancy suggest that oral health should be maintained during pregnancy and necessary dental treatment in pregnancy is safe and important. This article reviews specialist perceptions and behaviors situation in dental care during pregnancy.
