Abstract: Tissue engineering technology has opened up a new field of oral and maxillofacial nerve repair. Recent studies are focused on seed cells, nerve bridges，extracellular matrix and neurotrophic factors. This article reviewed
the research progress in repair of oral and maxillofacial nerve with tissue engineering technology.
