Research progress of composite tissue allotransplantation

Abstract: It is always a challenge for clinical medical workers to reconstruct the serious defect of the peripheral tissue. Clinically, autologous tissue transplantation remains the most reliable means for the serious defect of the eripheral tissue. However, the loss of organizational function of the offer′s district and some tissues unable to rovide by selves is insurmountable disadvantage. Composite tissue allotransplantation shows great potential and attractive for the serious defect of the peripheral tissue. This article gave a review to the animal experiments, clinical applications and immune suppression of composite tissue allotransplantation in the limbs, joints, larynx and facial transplantation.
