Abstract: The suppressors of cytokine signalling(SOCS) proteins are negative regulators of cytokine signalling. They can be induced rapidly in response to cytokines and some agents, and inhibit signalling via the JAK-STAT pathway. Periodontal disease is a kind of multifactorial disease, many pathogenic factors and complex cytokine signalling are involved in this disease. Now here is a review about the relationship between SOCS and periodontal disease.
