Abstract: The transforming growth factor（TGF）-β family plays important roles in palatal development with complex signal system via TGF-β-Smad signal pathway. We reviewed the expression of TGF-β family and the TGF-β-Smad signal pathway in developing palate, and the relationship among all of above.
