Research progress of c-kit in salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma

Abstract: Salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma （SACC）, characterized by distinct addicted nerve and high metastasis to lung, is one of the most malignant tumors in salivary adenoid tissue and have attracted much attention of many researchers. This article elucidated the relationship between c-kit, one member of protein tyrosine kinase family, and SACC in etiology, metastasis, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
