Research progress of lingual self-ligating bracket orthodontic treatment

Abstract: Lingual self-ligating bracket orthodontic treatment is a novel kind of treatment of orthodontics, which adopts self-ligating brackets in the lingual orthodontics. This kind of orthodontic treatment not only has the advantage
of self-ligating brackets which includes reduced friction, short treatment time and chairside time, but also has the esthetic property of lingual orthodontics, making itself with unique character compared with other ones. Therefore lingual self-ligating bracket orthodontic treatment is an advanced technique and will play an important role in the future orthodontics field. The paper was reviewed the research progress of this orthodontic treatment.
