Recent advances in cultured approaches of cranial neural crest stem cells

Abstract: The vertebrate cranial neural crest is a pluripotent stem cell population, giving rise to various types of tissues in the craniofacial region. This article is to review the research progress of in vitro culture approaches of cranial neural crest stem cells, to provide methodological reference for study on craniofacial development, regeneration, and associated diseases.
