The study on the orthodontic treatment related to temporomandibular disorder

Abstract: Temporomandibular disorder(TMD) is a common disease in dental clinical. It is generally accepted that TMD is a disorder and retrogression of masticatory muscles and temporomandibular joint due to many factors. The possible relationship between orthodontic treatment and temporomandibular disorder is a topic of great interest. In current decades, more and more researches have been focused on this field. This is a review about the study of their relationship.
