Abstract: Oral lichen planus(OLP) is a chronic mucocutaneous immune inflammatory disease of unknown etiology. Helper T(Th) cells play a key role in the pathogenesis of OLP. Recently, the role of Th cells polarization in OLP has drawn widely attentions. Previous studies have demonstrated a close relationship between the altered expression of different Th cells polarization-associated cytokines and the pathogenesis of OLP. These cytokines in OLP are the subject of this review.
