Abstract: As a new method to investigate the associativity between the mutation in gene locus and the susceptivity of disease, single nucleotide polymorphism（SNP） has been lauched in many fields. This article will summarize a review about the single nucleotide polymorphism in some gene locus and the susceptivity of periodontitis, a host susceptibility disease.
