Abstract: Angiogenesis is a key technique in bone tissue engineering. There are many cells and growth factors involved in vessels construction, such as vascular endothelium, smooth muscle cells, fibroblasts, vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF). The related scaffolds include bioactive materials, absorbable materials and combined materials. The main methods in vessels construction contain cultivating endothelial cells, flap prefabrication by implantation in vascular organs and using an arteriovenous(AV) loop for the induction of axial vascularization.
