Advance in composite facial allotransplantation

Abstract:

The deformity and absence of facial region is the comm on problem . Comparing with the autologous transplantation, the composite tissue allotransplantation shows great potential and allurem ent in facial severe m alform ation and defect. A t present, there exists much controversy for performing this kind of operation. In the article we summarized the challenges and progress faced by the composite facail allotransplantation.
