Current Treatment of Progressive Hemifacial Atrophy

Abstract: Progressive hemifacial atrophy is characterized by slowly progressive atrophy of one side of the face, involving skin, soft tissue and bone. No treatment for the atrophy is available to cure. A review of the current treatment methods will be presented and discussed, including reconstructive surgery primarily and medicine.
