The resistance of periodontal anaerobes and the ways to avoid resistance

Abstract: With antibiotics being administrated widely as the treatment and prophylaxis in periodontal disease, the resistance to anaerobes in periodontal disease becomes more and more serious. For reasonable selection of antimicrobial
agents and exploration of new products, in this review，increasing problems of resistance to antimicrobials, the machisms of resistance of anaerobes will be described．
